We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to work in our Rialto office. Pinnacle Medical Group physicians, who practice in the Inland Empire for many years, joined together in 1998 to open their own offices in San Bernardino, Rialto and Fontana. In 2005, Pinnacle expanded into the city of Rancho Cucamonga. At Pinnacle Medical Group there are eight primary care physicians, in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Pediatrics whom apply their motto, "Sympathetic Ears, Kind Hearts, Top Minds." Pinnacle Medical Group offers many services to patients such as
• A Nurse Advice Unit that patients can call for advice any night, weekend or holiday
• An Extended Care Center at the Rialto office open 7 days a week/365 days a year
• Yearly flu clinics
• Most HMO plans, over 100 PPO plans and Medicare accepted.
Primary Duties: The office manager is responsible for organization and productivity of the satellite facility; plans, ensures, development of, and evaluates new operating systems; trains and develops, qualified personnel as directed; assists in ensuring that physicians receive adequate staff support; designs and develops new programs to meet clinics need's; recommends and implement changes.
Exercise Discretion and Independent Judgment
The person in this position has access to information of a confidential and personal nature in the course of doing the job. The person in this position must be discreet, professional and diplomatic at all times because they speak for and represent the Partners and the firm.
Specific Responsibilities
Facilities: Able to orchestrate an office move and bring to a successful conclusion. Maintain office facilities, furniture and equipment in good condition, clean and orderly. Maintain File and supply rooms; Maintenance of archive files per firm file retention policy with database kept current. Maintenance of Reception areas, stock with corporate marketing literature and current business newspapers/magazines. Maintenance of Kitchen/Conference Rooms, providing an inviting area for employees to eat and clients to meet. Maintenance of supply area. Supplies are to be stored in an orderly fashion.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED: some college; Must have a working knowledge of nursing and medical terminology and also proficient with ICD-9 and CPT coding. Two years of prior health care supervisory experience; working knowledge of front office duties including cashiering, insurance, telephone etiquette and appointments; experience with the public; professional; the ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced stressful situations; pleasant attitude; neat appearance, excellent communication skills; ability to supervise staff; computer knowledge required; registration and/or appointments preferred. Preferred achievements include knowledge of computerized accounts receivable and patient scheduling systems; ability to work with limited supervision; posse's strong communication and organizational skills; strong customer service skills. Duties require the ability to devote an extra degree of professionalism and patience with our employees and clients. Applicant must present a caring and professional attitude toward all contacts.
